Homeland Redo - WIP - 4

I've continued work on this little piece, but somewhere during the day, I managed to overwrite my original file with something 20% the total size. :-/ So in addition to losing detail in general, it put me in a bit of a frown-face mood. Ah well though: I won't let that stop me!

After some discussion with I determined that since in my head this was supposed to be a scene occurring just after dawn, I might as well go ahead and further challenge myself with adding a bit more fitting lighting to the scene, as well as some tack for the horses and fixing Richard's neck so it wasn't well, broken.

You won't see any more "detail" shots, since this is now 1:1 with the new "full" size of the piece, but I'm hoping I'm getting towards the end of it. After the file-overwrite thing today, it admittedly took a bit of the wind out of my sails.

I've barely touched the "rocks" in the foreground, by the way. Everything else has had at least two vague passes. This round I also tweaked the landscape a bit more to hopefully strengthen the composition a bit.

Still more to go! Perhaps I can finish it up later today? I really like the warm and inviting feel.
