A year or two ago I said for fun that I'd sketch something for one of my friends and he opted for me to try my hand at one of his original Dungeons & Dragons characters.

Sadly, after making some progress on it, the sketch went missing for well over a year, and when I rediscovered it this weekend I knew I wanted to finish it off ASAP, so... here it is!

I thought it would be a fun challenge to make her visually appealing, but any "sweetness" you see is simply her masquerading as a wolf in sheep's clothing as she is truly a wicked, evil character.

7 x 10 inches in graphite.

Click for a crisper view. :)

I used multiple pieces of :iconmjranum-stock: 's stock as reference and inspiration for this piece as well.

Nicely drawn!

A couple of suggestions, if you want any: Her jeweled "skirts" aren't aligned to each other; on the side closer to us, the front opening seems to start near the front of the hipbone and rest just outside the line of the thighbone, while on the side farther from us, it starts almost directly below the navel and hangs well inside the thigh. You probably know this, but on quarter-turned figures, we need to map clothes onto the body rather than by eye. Does that make sense?

And having two extended fingers - a different finger on each hand - when all the rest are fully closed is, for some reason, distracting; we want it to mean something. Either a single extended finger or a partially uncurled hand would work better, I think.

This is a great sketch, and I'd love to see it even tighter.
