Sorrow+Zarathus Feather Comish

This is a handmade commissioned feather painting that contains quite a bit of blood, sweat, and tears from all the many layers and layers of paint needed to make up the foresty background and two figures (the figures are under 4 inches high and only 3 inches wide!), but I'm really happy with how this turned out. I really like the background with the light filtering through the forest canopy.

From the tip of the feather to the tassles, it is a little over 19 inches long, and inclues a cinnamon turkey hybrid tail feather, two smaller cinnamon turkey breast feathers, three small light blue real Swarovski crystals, a white rabbit fur bundle, four white rabbit fur tassels, chocolate deerhide lacing, tin cones, and two strings of beads that include amthyst, jasper, frosted glass, and silver. There are also two hand-painted silver feathers to match the main feather. Like my other feathers, there is NOTHING cheap on this: even the pony beads and seed beads are real glass rather than plastic.
